Glowy skin
I use it even if I wont be in the sun because it makes my skin glow, I would love it if it had more shimmer. Its too subtle. But it smells amazing and it does protect from sunburns I tested it on a beach day.

Feels great, didn't like the scent.
Love the way it feels but I don't like the smell. Everyone's nose is different, smell wise, it didn't work for me. The coconut scent was too overpowering.

Worked under powerful sun
I used this for a bachelorette trip in the Bahamas, where the sun is HELLA strong, and never burnt! However, you have to use a lot/I learned mixing it in with lotion sunscreen or wearing over spray is best. I don't think I'd ever use it alone.
Loveee, dark skin friendly! No sticky heavy sunscreen feel!
Used this for my trip to Jamaica and it was amaaazing, smelled great, no white cast on my dark skin, it was light and moisturizing, easy smooth glide on and beautiful shimmer. No sticky or heavy feel which I was nervous for. Definitely my go to summer oil for spf protection, hands down 🙌🏾 Purchase directly from Ulta store so I haven't experienced any of the packaging issues I've noticed mentioned in other reviews regarding faulty pumps.
No shimmer and no protection
Dont waste your money. This spf did not protect my skin. I applied twice and still got burned in just a few hours. The sparkles are nonexistent on the skin! The texture feels nice but there is no shimmer, and no protection. I wish i was in the return window so i could send it back.

I bought this before my outdoor wedding. Wanted a sunscreen and a shimmer. This was the perfect combo. My wife and I ended up using the entire tube during our honeymoon in Mexico. As someone who is awful about keeping up with my sunscreen I managed to make it the whole trip without a burn. Before being outside for the day I applied a 70 spf and then kept this one in my bag for reapplying. I definitely plan on adding this to my skin care routine.
On the fence
The product itself spreads easily with a slight shimmer & spf 50 which is what I was looking for. The Santal Bloom scent isn't my favorite but it wears off fairly quickly so isn't a major issue. The issue is pay attention to the packaging when you first receive it. It should come with a cover over the pump which makes it easy to travel with. Mine did not. I had to contact customer service & send them a screenshot as advertised on the app (which I ordered from) of the product with the cover. They offered to send me a replacement but it wouldn't get here by the time I leave for my trip which was the whole point of me purchasing it in the first place. I won't be able to exhange it in store before I leave for my trip so kind of a waste of a purchase since there is no way to prevent it from leaking on a flight.
