Beautiful shadows - awful packaging
I've been eye Date Night for MONTHS and regretted not getting it during 21 Days of Beauty, so I finally bit the bullet and used my reward dollars. It really is the perfect duo to pop on and head out the door for an everyday look. One swipe provides a powerful (yet subtle) shimmer. It's there, but it's doing too much. It's not patchy or creasy and builds up well. However, I nearly break a nail every time I try to open this palette. It's such a pain. I get trying to be "artsy" and "unique", but the packaging is just not functional or ergonomic. (TBH, Rabanne is not know for either qualities, but I digress.) Both ends are designed to look like a latch, so it's a guessing game every time I go to use it. If these palettes get a redesign, PLEASE consider a magnetic closure or figuring out a way to make it clear which end has the closing hinge and when end can be opened.

I bought this in the color latte. Online it looks like the matte shade is a peachy nude and the shimmer an orange gold. When I received it, the colors looked more like pink and burgundy.
Date Night is the perfect neutral duo
I bought this in Date Night, and it's the perfect shimmery, neutral duo. A taupe and a champagne highlight: it's all I need for a regular work day. Color payoff is very good, and the formula is soft and smooth. It didn't crease on my 46 year old eyes. I used eyeshadow primer. Great for travel or to throw in your purse when you're running late.
It's ok
The color is nice and the quality of one of the shadows is really nice but the other shadow is pretty basic. After trying it I would not say that this is something anyone should rush out to buy but if there's something you see and really want, go for it.
Cute but doesn't stay long!
I adore the shimmers but was disappointed with it not lasting long. I wore it for 4 hours (not touching my eyes) and by the time I got home the color dulled alot. Super cute for a small or short event, not for all day though!
