[I received this product as part of a free sample program.] The Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow Matte in the shade Dune is a warm, mid-toned peach with a warm orange undertone. Despite being a matte formula, it has a smooth and creamy texture, making it easy to apply and blend with either fingers or a blending brush. This shadow stick is a great option for a simple, one-and-done eye look. It's a safe and flattering color, perfect for a no-makeup makeup look when applied sheerly. Of course, you can also layer it for more opaque color, pair it with a brown powder shadow to deepen the outer corner and crease, and add eyeliner and mascara for a more polished effect. I don't typically wear eye makeup for extended periods, so I can't confirm the brand's 16-hour crease-proof claim. However, it held up remarkably well on my creasy, dry lids without flaking or smudging. There's a reason this is a top-rated shadow stick – it's a great formula that stays put after setting.

After using the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Cream Eyeshadow in the shade: Rosegold - shimmering rosegold I enjoyed it. I used it on my inner eye corner and under my eyelids as well as a eyebrow tip highlighter. Being that it has shimmer I wanted it to pop on the corner of my eyes. It was smooth, mines did not break it felt durable and did not irritate my eyes. I would like to play with different colors. It was easy to blend out and to pack on, did not get cakes and held on thru out the day. I would recommend this product for a quick pop of color either on your eyelids, inner corner or brow bone if you have this shade. So it's a multi use product because I used it on 3 different sections of my eyes. 2 Thumbs up!
